Prologue
I show my CV in pictures, partly because I think it says more – I am an image-seeing individual – and partly because I have no education to link to my work. On my page “about me” – regarding education – I refer to genes – my grandfather Kalle – who was a self-learning man. It has definitely suited me to be alone when I am creative … I am driven mainly by my desire – to realize what is invisible to me, to make it visible – that is the simple explanation!
Ofcourse there are earlier art works, but for now it starts here.

I started 76 – I had my first art show – 1981

NOTE – if anyone see Trapped Warrior anywhere, I would appreciate being contacted. It was stolen… and it has a very special meaning. Maybe it is in the same place as a couple of other paintings, objects of mine that happened to the same event.

The New Language!
– after a year of struggling with simple sketched lines all over
the walls in my studio, over and over… at least five times and each time tearing
it down – I got in contact with something holy… an inner
language! Slowly I could find stories to tell again… the work developed, and
has done ever since. Some of my work during the years after 1983 are
heavily dependent upon ”The Picture Letter”.

I did not see it coming! So I thought, but later on, when I did reflect over this phenomena I relized that there had been a long inner journey to give birth to this creations.
When I was 14 years old I was dertement to be a designer… but at 15 years old, something very prefound happend and I did cut my clothes to pieces… I just had to!

It is ongoing…

In the middle of Sweden, where the forest is big and dense. Just leaving a funeral – family related – I sat in the back seat of the car. Everyone was tired, it was just the beginning of a long journey home. I looked out and reflected sadly on life’s wobbly ways and ends. In the midst of all the shadow, suddenly it flashed a mass of glittering light.
It sparkled in the forest – I didn’t quite understand what I had seen.
