1997-98
This painting represents the year 1997-1998 – it was so wonderful to do – lots of drive – lots of insight and loads of humour. It represents a restart in life, which started right then.
title: “Letter From Diana”
– an insight lands within the Phantom… he receives a letter from Diana – (which is actually his inner Femina part that suddenly starts communicating with him) – which makes him gain full insight into himself – actually he goes through a gigantic development.

Letter from Diana – has stayed in my studio since 1997, during these years until today, it has only been shown for 3 weeks at the Mölndals Museum, about 9 years ago, the same time as the book fair in Gothenburg. Somehow the painting got talked about and the Fantomen club (which was at the book fair) contacted the museum and would like to meet the artist. So, of course I had to stand up – was very shy – had to declare my love for a paper man, a cartoon character to a group of men… I had their undivided attention, strange and funny somehow!
